Fremont Christian offers a full complement of academic tasks taught by experienced, state-certified teachers, many of whom possess masters degrees. French is taught in 7th grade and Spanish in 8th grade to all students. Computer instruction, art, music (including choir and band in grades 5-8), and physical education are also taught throughout all grade levels, K-8.

Our school consistently place in the top 25th percentile of all students tested annually on the Iowa Test of Basic Skills. A significantly high percentage of our 8th grade graduates go on to attain high honors at local Christian and public high schools upon graduation from grade 12.

At Fremont Christian, students learn to transform their world. We help students learn that our world belongs to God. Students are taught that Christ came to redeem the world, and that they, with the Holy Spirit's help and guidance, and a Biblical worldview, are equipped to carry out  God's work in this world in whatever occupation or profession they may pursue.

Quality Education a Priority at Fremont Christian School

amber walk.JPG (70869 bytes)Since 1919, FCS has set high academic standards for its students in order to develop their God-given talents to serve Him.  Listed below are some examples of the quality academics that FCS stands for:

Since 1990, 15% of FCS 8th grade graduates (avg. of 20 students per class) go on to finish in the top 10 senior students at local Public and Christian High Schools.

Since 1990, FCS has produced 5 Valedictorians and 5 Salutatorians at local Public and Christian High Schools.

In major core academic areas of the Iowa Test Basic Skills, our students consistently place in the top 25th percentile of all students tested nation-wide.

Academics are very important at Fremont Christian.  We are very proud of our graduates as they often obtain academic honors in high school.
