Few notes on Renweb grades:  the grading score is out of the points possible.  If you see a “M” - missing/zero, “E” - excused/freebie, “A” - absent and excused.  No entry may be just not entered or missing.  Please follow the instructions emailed a week ago for how to set up a parent account to look at your child’s information and grades.  We also may send out mass email quick links to see the grades, which are activated for only 2 weeks at a time.

Exploratories will happen on Monday and Wednesdays afternoons.

Other notes:

A reminder that our school is nut free.  Please remember this for lunches, snack, and other treats.

If your child is sick and you can pick up work at the end of the day:  you can call the office and ask to have a homework sheet left out, and the teachers will do our best to fill that in for you.  If your child is going to be gone or at an appointment, he/she is responsible for making up the work.  Your child should check with the teachers of that class for work missed.

I have been involved in Christian education for over 30 years.  I have a B.A. in Education from Calvin College, with a Social Studies group minor, and a continuing teaching certificate from Western  University.  I love having the opportunity to teach from the Christian perspective and looking at how God is working in the world and community around us.  My goal is to help parents teach their children about God, His world, and His plan for their lives.
I am currently the 6th grade homeroom teacher, along with Middle School history and Computer classes for 1st through 8th grades.  I appreciate the world of technology around us, and enjoy teaching children the many things that we can do with technology as a creative, useful, and necessary tool.
My family owns “Country Folk Dairy Farm” in Fremont, and enjoys spending time at Fremont Lake in the summer.  I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, especially my grandchildren.   I also enjoy being involved in children's worship, along with photo scrapbooking and computer graphics
