Our Mission:
Christ-focused learning for a life of service.
Fremont Christian School was founded in 1919 to provide Christian families of the Fremont area with a school that could teach the basics with Christ woven throughout the teachings. FCS is dedicated to academic excellence and provides a challenging and rigorous education that will prepare students for the continued rigor they will face in high school. FCS has the desire to glorify God in all things while pursuing quality and excellence in every area, including academics, arts, athletics, and service.
Tuition Assistance: Our tuition assistance program is based on family need. Information and applications for tuition assistance may be obtained from the school office. Several families use this program each year. If a family has a strong desire for their child to receive a Christian Education, the board of Education has a strong desire to make that happen.
Faculty/student ratio: 1 to 13. Average class size: 14. Faculty: 6 full-time/7 part-time.
Community: FCS has the potential to enroll well over 200 students. Currently there are 124 students K-8, and 28 in preschool. It is centrally located in Newaygo County in the city of Fremont serving students from several surrounding communities: Newaygo, Hesperia, Bailey, Bitely, White Cloud and Holton.
