The first and second graders went to Washington DC - virtually that is! They came to school with their luggage ready to board their flight to DC. Once they arrived they checked into their hotel, visited the gift shop and cafe, before boarding the trolley for a city tour. On the tour they were able to learn about many famous landmarks in Washington DC. During January and February, the 1st graders learned about American symbols and the 2nd graders worked on reports on famous Americans and Washington DC landmarks. So it was fun to get to travel there and see it all in person!
