ABOUT US
Located in Fremont, Michigan, Fremont Christian is a Pre-K through 8th grade school dedicated to glorifying God by educating and nurturing students to impact the world for Christ. The early childhood program features inquiry and play-based learning for our youngest learners while equipping them to interact with their peers socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Upon entering kindergarten, FCS provides learners with the choice of two impactful programs, Outdoor Education and Spanish Immersion. Through outdoor learning experiences, the outdoor education teachers craft lessons to meet the grade-level standards through the means of nature. The Spanish immersion teachers teach grade-level content fully immersed in the Spanish language along with inviting learners into engaging cultural experiences. The list of learning opportunities at FCS continues with classes in physical education, art, technology, music, band, and choir, along with extracurricular specialties for our older learners with sports, dance team, and adventure club. The all-encompassing throughline of FCS is the framework of Teaching for Transformation. Through the practice of engaging in meaningful school work, school work that is kingdom work, learners at FCS are forming a desire for living within God’s story, glorifying God, and impacting the world for Christ.

Fremont Christian School is a member of WMCS, a collaborative system of four schools throughout the Lakeshore region of Western Michigan that work together under a “Better Together” philosophy, offering an excellent PK-12 Christian Education experience and a full scope of academic and extracurricular programs. Benefiting from close cooperation and a seamless curriculum, our schools work together to execute the necessary plans to achieve, elevate, and sustain Christian Education in West Michigan.
At WMCS, everything we do is from the perspective of a Christ-centered worldview. We not only ask the question, “What would Jesus do?” we show our students “What Jesus Says” as it relates to the classroom, the athletic field, and the community we serve. WMCS extends “Beyond Academics” and educates the whole child, putting Christ at the center of all we do.
