FAMILY GROUPS AND BUDDIES
At Fremont Christian School, we strive to make our environment one where our students feel comfortable, safe, and involved. We think that having relationships and making connections within the school that are not just limited to students within the same classroom are important in meeting this goal. That is why we feel that incorporating Family Groups and Buddies into our school life is important. Family Groups consist of a group of 12 - 15 students ranging from Kindergarten through 8th grade. They meet once a month during all school chapel to sing worship and praise together and also have a special devotional time. This is where our older students can practice their leadership skills. Within these groups, students are paired also as buddies, and the younger students have a special older student to look up to. We often find that there are many special bonds created between our students, from young to old, through Family Groups. Family Groups also participate in service projects and special events, where it is a blessing to watch the older students reach out helping hands to the younger students as they serve and work together.
