🍂 What a beautiful week to enjoy God’s creation! These 7th and 8th graders are soaking up the fall sunshine, enjoying a good book, and making the most of one of our outdoor learning spaces—the Hammock Garden. 📚☀️ A perfect way to practice Creation Enjoying while learning outdoors! 💛
We are celebrating with some FCS alumni who are high school junior inductees into the National Honor Society! Out of 28 junior inductees, 10 are FCS grads!
To join NHS, students must meet set criteria in scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These qualities have been nurtured through our teachers along with the Holy Spirit and made possible by those who support our school through service, prayer, and giving.
What a joy to see our graduates continuing to grow and live out these qualities in high school! We give God the glory for the ways He is working in and through our students

Our First Chapel of the Year!
Today we gathered together for our first chapel of the school year and introduced this year’s theme: "By His Spirit” with our theme verse, Ephesians 2:22.
This chapel was led by our 8th graders, the Spiritual Life Leaders of FCS! They chose our theme, verse, and graphic for the year and even created motions for our theme songs. What a joy to see our students stepping into leadership and using their gifts to help our school community grow in faith!
One of the most special moments was our annual 8th Grade Pledge to our Kindergarteners, as our oldest students welcomed our youngest students and promised to support and encourage them throughout their first year at FCS.
Our first chapel was an awesome gathering of community, celebration, and worship as we glorified God together! We’re excited to see how God will work By His Spirit in and through our FCS community this year!
“In Him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.” — Ephesians 2:22

3rd and 4th grade students had the idea to shine God's light by writing and distributing encouraging notes, of course the notes had to be distributed with stealth

In Kindergarten we became mathematicians and courageous designers! 🧱
First, we worked together to collect 100 LEGO pieces and practiced our counting skills by organizing them into 10 groups of ten. This helped us see how numbers can be grouped and counted more easily while building a strong understanding of place value.
Then, the creativity began! Students became brave builders and designers, using the LEGOs to create something unique. After building, they drew a picture of their creation and wrote about what they made, practicing both their writing and storytelling skills.
We are learning that we can be thinkers, creators, and problem solvers all at once. We are 100 days smarter and growing every day! 💯

The most important part of Día de Los Reyes, (Three Kings Day) First Grade Spanish Immersion took time to read and study what the bible says about the visit of the wise men to baby Jesus. We love to see these kiddos being True Seekers by reading the Lord’s word!
Third Graders took a candy cane hike to enjoy god's creation and learn about the story of the candy cane.
Tis the time of year for winter hikes! Third and Fourth Grade Spanish Immersion students took a hike with Mrs. Bull for their science class yesterday. They admired God's Creation and learned about FCS's property boundaries.
Our kindergarteners had so much fun creating nature craft ornaments while learning all about Christmas trees! 🌲✨ What a joyful way to learn, create, and celebrate the season.
