Expressing Christmas Spirit in music!
Middle School Chapel discussed the book of Ecclesiastes today. They made lists of what they desire and compared it to what God desires for them. Secondly, they discussed the many platforms for social media, and how it can effect our moods. They reviewed the steady rise in depression and anxiety rates since 2000. They discussed what God would want them to follow, desire, and admire.
There are no grinches in this classroom!
FCS students and staff have pulled out all the stops for Crazy Christmas Accessories day!
The 1st grade Spanish Immersion students were so excited to show our local healthcare workers how much we appreciate what they do! We made cards in Spanish and our 6 grade buddies help us translate in to English so that the cards would have both languages. The parents donated goodies and we put together gift baskets. We were blessed with so many items by parents, that we were able to make 5 huge baskets! God is good!! More importantly, we are praying in our class for our healthcare workers. For their health, wisdom and strength!!
Clearly the staff at FCS has been spending a lot of time together, because they are starting to dress alike. Happy Plaid Friday!
